People, Process & Result

Information Technology is overall quite rational, which is why I prefer the functional part of IT over the purely technical. Functional IT drills down to the very core of company culture:

"We do things a certain way, and this is why. We want to innovate while sticking to those ways as much as possible. If that changes, so should our mindset — which is challenging."

We are open to change because we understand the need for growth. However, with any change activities, the people affected should be heavily involved. It is important that people trust the process, because their role is essential in jointly delivering the desired results.

IT cannot succeed without the involvement of the user community and business SMEs. We should not just tell our stakeholders what is or isn't coming — we should explain the "Why", leading to outcomes that are agreed on, or even jointly decided.

Philosophy

P

People

IT cannot succeed without the people who use and build it. I invest in understanding teams, coaching individuals, and building trust — because results follow people.

P

Process

Every organization does things a certain way, for a reason. Understanding those processes — and respecting them while enabling change — is at the heart of any transformation.

P

Practice

Good architecture and strong teams only matter if they deliver. I keep the end goal in sight — translating effort into visible, meaningful progress that the organisation can see and build on.
